Personally, the thrillers with political influences are much more amusing to me even than the ones done with tons of bullets, guns and CGIs.
And this is a classic example of one such successful creation. Added a true story

Crowe's act reminded me of the nerdy head in Beautiful Mind. And Al Pacino is just awesome as usual.
