a great movie. and i think cobb got out. at the end of the film the totem is spinning and is loosing its balance. so it's going to fall. that means it wasn't a dream.
ok gonna shit this movie again. the reasons why it sucks
1. This is what happens when you try to compress a 10 hour story into 1.5 hours.
2. They changed the original story too much.
firebenders can't creat fire they can only bend it. they can only create fire with the help of the comet.
Aang has trouble with water bendng. but in the series he doesn't have that much of a problem at water bending. he learns even quicker than katara. earth is the element hard for him to master.
3. and imagine zuko carrying a torch where ever he goes so he can bend fire. lol
4. crappy acting. they can't even be called actors. dialog readers more likely. wtf was they thinking. couldn't they find some actors with experience and talent.
waited so long to watch this movie. in the end it turns out be crap.
Hotel Rwanda [ 2004]
Truly a masterpiece. Read about the genocide in Rwanda long ago and it made me to understand this film well. Don Cheadle was brilliant there and the cast is good as well.

The Last Airbender
Eventho so many have branded this as terrible adaption+movie
I tried my best not to cloud my judge coz I loved that TV series
That much
And wanted this movie to be at least ok
One thought came across my mind after seeing this
Did someone ragged Shyamalan until he make something of Avatar ?
My opinion is fault is not all of the Director.
Its practical to make a movie of a series which starting with new story on each episodes.
But absolutely impractical for this
since
Avatar is a highly detailed series with single current of story enriched with great combination of so many cultural & traditional elements . And how can u put it all to 1 hour and 43 minutes ?
As a result
director had no choice but stick to the main flow of the story avoiding scenes that demonstrate awe inspiring potential power of the child that hides beneath his funny playful innocence
Ex:- The Scene of
How Avatar escape from Zuko's ship by truing upside down the ship leaving dozens of dozens of soldiers flabbergasted and helpless
had been cropped
How the monks of earth,fire,water temples shocked to see the sign of the avatar's return (Temples staring to glow stuff's like that) also missed
Still remember how my hairs standing erect to see that Gandalf return on LOTR and when he came to rescue the city with 10 000 of soldiers
from the east with sun rays kissing the earth. mesmerizing
Here bunch of earth benders imprisoned right on earth surface and avatar say Im Aaan(ආන්ග්)
then දඩිං බිඩිං ඩෝං end of the fight
Finally all I have to say is
My only regret is that why a failure of a movie has to be on
my most favorite character Avatar
And my advice is
If some of the viewer's hoping to watch both Series and this movie
I suggest u watch the series first
and forget this movie second
However last 10 minutes is great
and overall effects are awesome

Winter's Bone
Fairly good movie
My Ratings 7.5
I always appreciate wit of Hollywood(or whatever non Sri Lankan) artists when it comes to recreating the nature of the movie
And this movie is fairly good example.
People who live in that area are quick tempered and non religious by the nature , Minding their own businesses without giving a damn of others.
Yet someone come to their door step asking help they try on their best to help out and get rid of him
Brotherhood
Director has done a good job fabricating those kinda stuff in a way even a dumb like me could fathom
Just like Gran torino and No Country for Old men
Story just flowing through to its end. No smart plays strategies or shocking plots.
Yet this is not boring as No country for Old men
or Just filled with dumb actions like The Expendables
Im not recommending this movie to everyone
but those who did enjoyed Gran Torine or
Manage to sit through on
No Country for Old men
