Shah Ruk did play good roles early in his career. Lately, doing only the romance/comedy/tragedy roles is just wasting him away. Maybe, he might do a Big B act and come back to playing good roles when he reaches 70 (unless he's already reached that age..).

What a movie! The government is killing poor students because of population and only one student will survive as he/she get the chance to live. 10/10

I'd rate this movie 10/10 as well ..cos of the view it shows on current education systems...the tragedy of todays kids that they undergo due to unfuckingbelieavable pressure is well depicted in this movie.

your parents tell you to be you have to be number one, the job market tells you that you have to be the BEST...everything, your home, the society all slowly makes you believe that you have to be the number one at education, qualification and shit like that, so it's basically a war between eachother, your friends for the kids to survive in this world. ..so i guess all the friend killing in the movie in order to survive is a metaphor for that scenario.

this my friends, is a fucking brilliant movie...this is not just anther 'sick jap flick'
additionally you get to see Takeshi Kitano

Unless I'm mistaken, this movie was made as way of letting off steam for the creator from his WW2 and post war days. All the violence was a cry out against the way they (kids) were supposed to live at that time. And giving this movie a 10/10 for a pair of boobs and kids with guns put your credibility (for movies at least) at stake as well.

I didn't know that but I like my interpretation better..and it deserves 10/10
