Who can tell me [routers and modems]

Hey guys,

Am using the SLT adsl 512 line..Earlier i was using a MODEM and now im using a ROUTER.. I have experienced a change in speed...wel obviously to the Negative side..in other words my net is slower than it used to be..

MODEM = fast
ROUTER = sometimes slow

Question : why is that ? [do I have to change my Router settings ?]


P.S -- I want to use the Router, bcuz with the modem am having DC's..
