As per the order by the Ministry of Health, companies manufacturing carbonated soft drinks have displayed the sugar levels in their products.
Based on what they display, sugar content is between 11 to 13 grams per every 100 ml. It seems to be weird and horrific.
If you drink a 300 ml carbonated soft drink a day, you are consuming 33 to 39 grams of sugar. I usually take 1 gram of sugar for my tea or coffee. I take two or three tea/coffee a day, which means I used to consume maximum 3 grams of sugar from my tea/coffee a day. If I take a carbonated soft drink, I am forced to take 10 days of my sugar consumption at once.
As per my physician's advice, I have almost stopped having carbonated soft drinks since long time ago. Think twice. Try to take fresh juices, rather than artificial drinks manufactured by the multinational companies.
