    I am IT undergraduate in ucsc.I think it is better if we know something about what we are going to to in after got degree.Usually i know who is software engineer,database administrator,web engineer,Quality Assurance Engineer,Project Manager and Technical writer.
    But i do not not much about Business Analyst.

    1).What is the role of Business Analyst?

    2).what qualification does he/she need?

    3).What we have to do as BA ?

    4).How much did we get(salary)?

    5).Can we do it long time(you guys know SE can't to development more than 12 or 15 years.)

    thanks for your answers.:yes::yes:

    1. BA involves in Requirements Gathering phase. He is responsible for capturing client's requirements and preparing Software Requirements Specification (SRS).

    2. A bachelor's degree/master's degree/equivalent in IT , CIMA

    3. Refer 1

    4. No idea. I think it depends. If you are a junior BA you might get a low salary. Salary increases with your experiences.

    5. yes. You can be a senior BA or a project manager
