then what abt ur SB dissanayake.If u say Kandy is more important place to mahinda,what abt Haguranketha to SB dissanayake.Then what happened to him.SB said that he would win the whole central province.Bt unfoetunatly he couldnt even protect his home town which was a UNP stronghold.Many of people understand the truth.Nw they r nt with their narrow political views.Bt i dont know what happened to kandy.I think still they r thinking with their green heart , Not from brain

I would like to correct you...most of the province is looking at the situation through their Blue eyes...

Thts what is really happening, but Kandy I feel is more specific about the actions of each party and ITS CANDIDATES specially at provincail level, as this election was a Local Govt. election, so thats what counts the most, not how the macro economic level strategies of the country and the whole country's administration is done by a party...

I firmly state, that it was SLFP and Mahinda Rajapaksha who gave rice packets in the public to everyone and things like liquor, I have sufficient evidence and the mayham and havoc that those cases caused around the city. Me being a Kandy citizen and a constant visitor know this very well...You cannot say NO to that...

What SLFP did to attract Kandyans, I should say , is the least appropriate...

But UNP did the best in a least quantitative but more qualitative manner...that counted

ithink S. B. works for Mahinda, though he is in UNP.
I think Mahinda sent most in the 17 group when Chandrika in power to get them back when he needed..
