Yes He did and Karuna also a part of it..
If Karuna was accepted Prabha too will be accepted.. No matter how you feel..
It is Mahinda's desicion to do it or not. We can't do anything.

Actually the same thing I guessed in my first message...
If Prabhakaran stops killing, he will be accepted and respected by Sinhalese who hate him now..just like did already with his second in command -Karuna... He is forgiven for all those he did helping Prabha.
Karuna has just to enter the democratic flow of the country and become a hero.
Many people who is against Prabha today will accept him tomorrow also as a member of parliament or even as the Prime Minister... And they will find many excuses to justify his entrance.
Mahinda was very skillful and succesful with his strategy and timing of bringing Karuna in to the political stream. I think he will do it again with Prabha too, unless Prabha is not wise as Karuna to hang on to the straw when he is caught in the flood.

It deserves a thread but you can see how serious they are...
They think of war, ecconomy, everything.. with same irresponsibility and still think that they know what is right... and advice others too.
I am not surprised...iust amused..
I just feel pity for the rulers and ruled who are not aware.. For rulers because they have caught the serpent from the wrong end.. When the venome is felt they are too late.
Ruled who are so stupid not to understand pay a lot for nothing but bite their own future merrily.

Actually everybody knows him but trained by media to follow meekly. The same people praised Premadasa lighted fire-crackers when he died.
