well wat they did cannot be answered accrdin to Buddhism... in Buddhism, Every Action has an equal and opposite reaction... simple terms... If i make someone unhappy today, I have to expect to get that in return... if not in this life, the next...

If i kill someone today, I will have to face somethin equal soon.. if not immediately, the next life... kind of like a Bank Acct.. good stuff (kusal) goes in to ur acct... and bad karma (akusal) withdraws from it... the moment kusal becomes low things start gettin bad... so thats why buddhists are encouraged to practice accumulating merit (kusal)... hence all the alms givings, bodhi poojas, etc

NOTE: Not ALL Buddhists practice this... But this is wat SHOULD be done... If everyone actually did think about having effects on wat they do, the world would definitely be nicer!!

Ok lets talk about Karma, and say there is such a thing. In the most basic sense if we do wrong we will be punished in the next life. How does that really work? Ok now say a person is born blind , deformed or whatever.. due to bad karma of his previous life. But that person has no clue for what he was punished; I mean WTF ?? Whats the logic behind it ? If you don't know why you were punished or rewarded then whats the point?? So that others will see and will not do bad because they don't want to end up like the first person ? Thats some screwed up logic, if you ask me...

questioning why things are different could be the reason for the appearance of the god concept, if there isnt a god. in buddhism there is an answer, but its hard to explain. religions are the answer made by the man as the human is advancing through its biological evolution and when there are questions raising why things are different. yes, they dont have a choice. see how unanswerable questions are being answered by the religions?

Defiantly there is a beginning and an end. So far the most widely accepted theory in the creation of the universe is the Big Bang theory. And I think it is a believable theory.

And now scientists predict that the end will be caused by a phenomena called the Big rip. Which in essence means after the universe expand past a certain point gravitational forces and the bonds between atoms will not be able to hold matter together, and everything will just catastrophically colappse. Again another believable theory.

That would be the end of the universe. But life on earth will be gone way before that with the death of our sun (unless we start colonizing other planets outside our solar system)
