Definitly 9800gt.
But some games like GTA 4 work better with more video ram yet 9800gt is lot fast
why don't you buy radeon HD 4830?? it's better than both cards.

Definetly the 9800GT is a lot better than the 9600GT because the 9600GT has 64 shaders and the 9800Gt has 112 shaders
