machan you could be able to get a better and newer card for the same price if you like to import it from abroad. I did the same and bought my GTX 285. it will take about 2 weeks. but if you are ok with that, get a good ATI or if you wanna buy an Nvidia card, you can get something like EVGA XFX or BFG from there.

once i bought a 4870 from unity and I had to face a hell of problems once i found that it isnt working properly. i think some of them are selling faulty stocks there.

Don't ever try to compare two different company names. Always go for this price/performance ratio. EK is filled with idiots who just buy stuff for the brand name. Read a bit of reviews and try to decide.

BTW its a shame that when a thread like this is posted those idiots are the first to flood the topic with their opinions!

Google these two cards and see. AFAIW both are equal in performance . But the ATI one is slightly better.

if you compare two video cards pick two that come from the same price category.. for example it makes no sence to compare a 9800GT with an HD4890.. but it does make sence t do so with a HD4850.. in which case the 4850 wins.. which ATI always do.. always the ATI card is better than all nvidia cards in in its price category... so dont listen to those brainless dumb shits who go around saying "nvidia is the best" !!thats pure fanboysm.. i am an ATI (HD4870) user and also a nvidia fan... but not a fanboy of any.

So true! there are lot of Jokers going around promoting fanboysm saying NVIDIA is best ATI is best, just because they use it!

People should learn the art of comparison at least in its basic level.. How can you possibly answer the question ATI better or NVIDIA better without any base criteria?
