I'm not recommend that bro but if some one interesting about windows 7 then they can use them but it is a way to lot of trouble

machan first u make your xp as a genuine.after that u can install xp sp3 updates.don't format it is waste ,

You probably may be downloading stand alone sp3 form the net so you don't have to format your system to install it. Just install it as a normal XP Upgrade
But since you said that your system is crashed, you'll have to setup XP (install) first and then install the sp3
If you're downloading an image file of a Bootable Wndows XP sp3 CD/DVD first you'll have to burn it as a bootable CD/DVD and then install
The bootable sp3 CDs are now in SL but majority are based on Live Disk preperation so it's not safe guranteed to use them & of course Due to current rules by govt It's hard to find a place to buy a software CD

Regarding Windows 7, It's still on beta testing and as Malinga said, it can cause many crashes in unsuitable machines
So before selecting the Windows 6 (Vista) or Windows 7 (Vienna), check your omputer capabilities online or by a software like Vista Adviser from microsoft
