You can't compare E7200 with a X2.. because X2 is pretty out dated... E7200 is 45nm and X2 90nm... Price wise It's more than enough what I get from AMD

"WTF this is bullshit how can a Athlon X2 can be almost fast as a core 2, this Benchmark is flawed." to my benchmark results because I have an AMD..
Just because you have a better CPU doesn't give u a better performance results.. In my rig I spent more money on my motherboard than my CPU.. All other parts including RAM's, Cooling, PSU very important facts on a Computer performance that's why I spent so much money on them..

I haven't followed much Intel CPU's. When I bought my first Dual core CPU few years back X2 4200+.. There was no Core2Duo in the market.. It was Intel Dual Core CPU(check the Intel logo) Intel's answer.. But it was pretty slow compared to X2s... Later Intel added few things to and released CoreDuo,Core2Duo.. I'm not the one confused here it is u who's thinking old first stage Intel Dual Core CPU's with lower FSB, lower cache etc as another kind of CPU..
What I'm saying is Intel answer to AMD X2 was Pentium D CPU... not Core2Duo

It's dual core alright, but it is not the name they gave it. It was Pentium D.

It doesn't determine the performance. It only decides the power efficiency, clockability and material cost.

But why are you compare two generations? X2's are comparable to PentiumD's mostly. There is no proper product from AMD against Core2Duo. Maybe PhenomX3. But PhemonX4 was built to fight against Core 2 Quad, but fails by a long margin.

they always looking for Quad core, dualcore and if we got Pentium 4 they laugh,, But don't try to get the full use of it..

i hv met lot of guys lyk this..

i noticed most of them hv not used and P3 or P2... (some tyms even P4)
if they had used them, they never say lyk that..(but there are some ppl who.....)

ya me tooo..i hv 95 and the old linux kernel (its bit sux if you got newer PC but with 233 its elz)

some ppl don't even know about 98s also... they amzed with its speed..hehe..and grapix..
