Then probably the Japanese end scheduled the meeting and they have a paid Zoom account. I do have an Enterprise account and I can schedule several meetings untimed. All free accounts always had a 40 min limit.

Only because of Covid, they allowed Australian, NewZealand and Indian school children to use it without the 40 min time limit..

Who initiated the meeting? Unless it's ONLY two people in the meeting. In which case it's unlimited.

True.. Those are educational accounts. I think some here are confused. With TWO persons, its unlimited. (Of course then it's not really a meeting, it' s a video conversation)

There were few security issues and also issues related to Windows, which was fixed. In April there were two massive expolits discoverd. Then there was another recent one and Zoom will be changing into a version with AES 256 soon.
I believe they purchased the security company Keybase and the fully encrypted version will be deployed within 3 months.
