Alianware 15x or Asus G53Jw any owners pls comment......

I'm going to buy an gaming laptop and i narrowed my choices to these 2 laptops.....but cant cosse between them..if u know abut these two laptops plse help me to choose....

OK Laptops? You have one? They are just brillient. Alienware is only fancy colours and totallly overpriced. They were good before DELL bought the alienware company. You can buy a G53JW - 840Qm/8GB ram/Bluray Drive/3D Model with a 1TB hard for that alienware price.I have used both and you will regret after 6 months if you buy that alienware. Piece of shit that is. Most people will not agree with me here. But thats the truth. Please Consider your decision if you are buying that fancy colour shit.

Now i have a G73JW because i wanted a better cooling system. It's running more cooler while gaming than any of the machines i used before. We can only give you our views but if you selected alienware already you will hate to hear these kinds of comments. Thank you and happy gaming

thnks nuni..... i havant decided which one yet...but that g73 costs 247000 if i imported with taxes...and thats out of my budjet.... i was reviewing and found out that ATI 5870 on dell is more powerfull than gtx460...but i think u are right becoz i can go for g53sw which has new sandybridge i7 processor... still i cant take away the lokks of that alianware.....

i need this lap for our LAN party...i cant take my desktop everyware.....so i thought of buying a gaming laptop........

I can understand.hehe.Everyone is stunned with that lights.I also was .And for 5870 vs 460GTX. Again because i used. 5870 speed is better than 460. but you wont get nvidia physics and 460 has newer tech than 5870. Both are good cards. You will get +5 FPS ingaming with 5870 but with no physics. When you select a laptop for gaming go for the cooling system. My Alienware was pretty hot and i think thats the reason my motherboard got busted. But this G73GW im using is now 9 months old and still its managing 40-50 c when idle and 70-80c when gaming (metro 2033 and crysis 2).
G53JW is bit hotter than G73JW because its more compact.
Go for the sandybridge processor then you have a advantage of sharing L3 Cache between CPU and GPU. So with that you will experience better gaming experience also

to be honest what ever they say about ati card..i like GTX460 more...he he...and for the same reason you explained...i'm doing Maya and 3d's max and physics will help a lot in that case.....
and u said its hoter i mean alienware.....then i think i ve to reconsider again...coz i dnt nedd a hot larmrest while gaming..... thanks again...it was realy helpfull ur comment.....

You won't get a hotter palmrest with that.The Right upper area will get ~ 30 ~ 40 c.
Both your palms will stay ice cool and its guranteed with ASUS G73. All my comments seems like im so biased for ASUS. But sadly thats the truth. If you want lights like Alienware go to this site or this site to customize your G53

+ get the IC Diamond Thermal Compound so that you can run your system -10c cooler than typical
