Suggestions to Elakiri

observed so many new members (actually Fake IDs) posting nuisance/insulting/porn threads by violating EK Rules

What can we do for stop this problem ?

I'm suggesting to..

1. do not allow New Members to post "treads" till they pass 100 post mark or senior member level.

2. do not allow Members to post "treads" if that member have -100 (minus) or more.

3. give some monitoring period for members who can post "threads" till he pass 10 threads mark (within that period mod can approve threads for publish)


from above mentioned points, we can reduce the unwanted threads and ID creating since they cant do what they want from creating a quick fake ID

this will need a team of active mods to be active 24/7 to go through all the quarantined threads and posts.
If thats in place, this is doable.

nice topic. there some members who posting from fake ID's and telling this is me and I have many fakes.

About No new threads to new members - New members always come to elakiri for getting help or ask something from the community. So if no new threads how they communicate? They will have to post 100 useless posts to start their important thread.

Moderators can not check 100s of threads in few minutes time. Then you will need atleast 100 mods and double server power for the additional approval process. And thread starters will have to wait long to get their thread approved.

After doing all this fake IDs can still post nonsense in existing threads. So no use trying only to stop threads.

At a glance all the social networks and large communities have fake IDs and people who insult each other in bad words.
Even you check youtube, facebook you can find tons of people posting bad words, porn etc.. So why they are not applying this methods? It's impossible to mod like that. And this is internet. Hope you got the point.
What you have to do is report us when you see such things. We are faster to remove them than any big network.

Anyway what we have to do is produce more moderators. It will take some time, Please understand it's lot more than assigning some old members as mods.
Moderators need skills to solve problems, it's not just deleting and banning people.
