Go to your Facebook homepage and add the Developer app by typing "Developer" into the search bar. Click on the first result.
Click on "Create new app."
After typing in your app's name and namespace (don't worry about it, no one will ever see it), click on "Open Graph"
We're going to take advantage of Facebook's new ability to [verb] any [noun]
Type some words in (again, no one will see this) and click "Get Started"
Change a few default settings -- none of this matters
After saving your new "app," you should have an invitation to the new Timeline on your Facebook home page. Click "Get it now"
It will give you a preview of what it looks like, but nothing's actually changed until you click "Publish now"
There you have it. Your new Facebook Timeline. Upload a cover image and customize away.
Timeline isn't the only new thing...
Note: until timeline goes live on 30th Sept. ur new profile only seen by other developers.. others will see ur old profile..
