2) DSLR camera එකක් + හොද super telephoto lens එකක් සහ Teleconverter lens එකක් අරන් ඒකෙන් photo ගන්න එක , ඒකත් පළවෙනි එක තරන්ම වියදම්
3) Bridge (super zoom) camera එකක් අරගෙන photo ගන්න එක, බොහොම ලාබයි , මට මේ පහල තියෙන පොටෝ ටික ගන්න ඔය කැමරාවට ගියෙ 30000 වගේ තමයි ( US වලින් ගත්ත එකක් නිසා ගාන තව අඩු උනා)

have to spend as much as you would have to invest on 500mm zoom lens bun..
so if your main target is astrophotography, it's better to invest in a telescope straight away than going for a lens.
obviously it's next to impossible to get good telescope from here.

u can't do much with this 800mm lens machan , even those photos by me are equivalent to 3000+mm digital plus optical focal length.
using a teleconverter for astrophotography is okay but not for other types of photography. i saw lots of really good quality astro photos from DSLRs using teleconverter , u can find them on flicker. thats why i suggested that to him
i checked digiscopes and other high mm mirror lenses in ebay and some of them are affordable to should try them though
