....... Plus we got glimpse of Aang gang in their 50s or 40s.In that particular scene Aang was really angry at something or someone and I think it might has had something to do with Amons chi blocking.
I am pretty sure we will be seeing more of soka and original gang in future episodes.

Sorry you lost me there :S :S

I was hoping you would say that. Most people missed it. Rewatch the part where Tenzin comes to rescue Korra in Aang memorial island. Korra says "Aang" just before or after she get these glimpse/visions.You can see grownup Toph,Soka and Aang.

    Thinking out loud

Its kinda silly how Stargate writers limit the ability of the Tauri and the allies.
There is 4 powerful races in the known universe. Only one harbours the pure evilness. The Gould's

Ancient - Extincted and those who survived has ascended to a higher plane of existence with mighty powers. And they dont do a sh!t while Anubis the hybrid fish the whole world.

    Furlings : - Dead
Asgard : - Dead or a dying race
Nox : - Again do nothing.

And primitive tauri's had to fight their asses off ?
At least they met with worthy ally. Tokra. Again dying race and they get blown up in 100 each and every time they surface in the series.

They had symbiote poison and chose not to use it in wide scale coz jaffa get killed in the process as well

    In atlantis
Theres a a cloned SG team with nanites inside which make them have incredible healing properties. Again DEAD

This is just a fraction which came to my mind right now

Nope, two season consisting total of 26 episodes (they will add more if necessary)

I knew theres 26 epis. Though all are in one series :)

But those writers left us with a great story didn't they?
Its humankind's unbreakable courage, spirit, friendship, compassion and creativity that made tauri win the war. Would you have been happy if O'Neil made an ultimate weapon using the knowledge he obtained from ancient repository? I know I wouldn't be.

A hell of a story they did

But the writers kinda failed to create proper reason on some occasion.

Almost all the time they tried to acquire a Hatak vessel (big Gould ship) It always ended up destroyed, blowed or at least immersed in a deep sea.

Can you even stand a scenery that Asgards getting overrun by replicators :( :(

And specially our beloved Tokras getting killed ? (With all the power and knowledge they got they even refuse to take host by force and even help the humans as much as they could. Unlike Onille I love tokras )

And asgards refuse to provide them asgard sensers so they have have to beacon in order to get themselves beamed.

They do not even consider the possible usage of sarcophagus let alone healing device. You could have easily bring healing devices on missions for emergancy occasions. Just like any ambulance equipped with Oxygen tank

You could have easily manufactured that kull warriors(super jaffas having suits capable of absorbing any energy weapon) suits for SG teams
And the list goes on :)
The point is green. I never expect them to make Tauris almighty. But in the process of not doing so with all that Alien technologies they should have been *littlebit* more reasonable.

I admit its not easy to write such sci fy in order to meet my requirement and they certainly have done a superb job. But the fact still stands

You might have a point. But in writers defense the technology Tauri dealing with was far far beyond their understanding. Mostly what they did was trail and error. Writers came up with a good theory to support this. These four races have been roaming universe 50 million years ago. So Alterans, Nox, Asgard and Furlings scientists pretty much had all the time in the universe to perfect and develop their technology to a level where our scientists would seem like a bunch of cave men with hunting clubs. We are infants compered to them in the universe. I think Tauri still has a long journey ahead of them and one day maybe after 5 or 10 millenia, we will see their own city ships leaving earth.:)

BTW ancients have been secretly protecting milkyway galaxy from Ori up to the point where Daniel screwed it up.

So what you are saying is they are far more experienced with the technology and fighting numerous villain than Tauris have right ?

    Well
In our own beloved Onille's words
We have saved their cute little gray asses from the replicators many times
:D (Well while Carter used the ancient weapon McKay made replicator ball remember ? )

And do not forget we defeated the wraith who had Ancients on the run, for christ sake. While Ancient foolishly let wraith to intercept their ZPM our shepperd and Mckay guys blowed one of their ship powered by ZPM, to hell Not to mention defending the Lost City at any cost.

I say we only lack with the experience not much with the required intelligence. If Asgard took step to provide their technology, many Samantha Carters-like geniuses will grab it. Hell we may even outsmart them !

Im impressed you remember almost all the points of the SG by heart. Im still at season 08. Ori's are yet to come ;)

Inventing something from point zeros is completely different from understanding & tweaking which is already invented. Asgard sought Tauri's help because, Tauri's intellectual capacity is much more primitive than both Asgard and Replicator intellectual capacity, which made Tauri startergies somewhat dificult for repliucators to see beforehand and fight back before intended effects take place. It was Tauri's creativity and all those traits i mentioned earlier helped them win fights.I accept that people like Samantha and McKay (this one time McKay started meditation or something when he was infected with some kind of deadly bug. His mind reached very near to the levels of ascended beings) are really really smart people but from what I think they are no where near the minds of people who invented freaking flying cities.

    Hallowed are the Ori!

Tauris primitive behaviour was not the case when they created a Replicate Samantha Carter. They had even samantha's thinking pattern at their disposal and still Tauri defeated them :D
Anyway your point does not cover how tauri defeated wraith. The one race that defeated Ancients. The stargate builders.

You know I kinda agree with Trust. What exactly have SG guys achieved in return ? Promethious and F302 anything else significant ? I dont think so.
And surely we cannot go after Asgards or Tokra all the time to save our asses :)
