1. Governing a country is no simple task. Many can say, you should do this, that and should've done that so and so. But the truth is, people who babble about all these, doesn't even know how to handle a small group of people and make a decision. Yes, it is true that some of the decisions are baffling and irritating that MR made. But, we are not in an ideal world. Specially idealistic political background is no where to seen. H'ever what MR's govt. has done and their future plans are quite admirable compared to all what previous others has tried or done. If anyone tries to babble about infrastructure development plan and so, first get some knowledge about growth of a city.

2. To be honest, the worst decision SF made was to join UNP, who are a miserable unit right now. If SF truely had a plan, he should have gathered some intelligent people and made a new party of himself. By agreeing to UNP's policies, just makes no sense in having a UNP govt. and SF as president.

3. Do not forget, it is not just SF who won the war or he who made the bigger contribution. There is no such things. Actually if you analyse closely enough, we had even better, far far better intelligent and brave Generals. But what we lacked was true genuine and strong political leadership which can face the international as well as take those brutal and bold decisions. If you read the history books, you will find how much betraying has recorded over the 30 years of brutal war. What more better evidence than SF himself parsing the same fact, sooner we won the battle.

I can go on and on why MR being on president is far better than SF. What we need in SL is not anew president, but a strong opposition party who can influence and intimidate the govt. so that better results are being made. What's happening right now is that, govt. is going of their business on free will.
