i have flown recently in one of the airlines.sri lankans were not that much in the flight.mostly indians.Indians lyk to fly in Sri Lankan airlines bcz of the liquors the staff is giving as the part of the menu and the cheapest flight they can get is sri lankan. (1-Indian rupee is equal to 2.50 sri lankan rupee)
however I have been taken very gud care of as I was in 1st class passenger even i was in economy class.you have to talk in English though if u want to get something done from them,the staff.if u talk in Sinhalese,the air-hostess will be neglecting you several times,according to my experience.no offence

This is the problem with most of the people in Sri Lanka they don't value our own language. If we speak in Sinhala then we are treated as "Godaya" otherwise as "Sudda"
