How many days SLT takes to activate ADSL First time?

I applied on 13th June Friday and still mine is not activated. When i call last friday they said yest it is not yet activated and we have informed to relavant Department. This is the first time i'm activating the ADSL and it is Web Family. I live in Dehiwala near the junction.

You better call 1212 and ask for the contact number of your Area Manager and then talk to him directly. Just say you applied like a month ago still no progress. Thats the best way you to get this fixed.

Those fuckers are really annoying. Trust me. I waited for like 3 weeks and I told my dad to call and scold them. He did it right on the next day and they fixed it within 2 days

When they start charging from the date of application or from the date of activation?
In your case i hope ther will be one month diffrent since you said 3 weeks.

depends on the free ports you got for your area,mines it took only 1 day

machan it''ll take more and more time unless they hv free ports or smthn they used to call codes , i appild for the home package on june 18th n waited foe more than a month to get da connection , also dont stop calling their regional office telling that u havnt recid da connction yet , smtms they might just ignore u then call 1212 and make a complain

No coverage I'm surrounded by buildings.

Yesterday They have activated that mean 12days
They call me and said line is active
I didn't call and bug eccpt the clarification i made on last friday 7th day

My Router is G. I'm hitting maximum speed that wireless G can offer 6.75Mb/s
I will let you know the full speed after testing on LAN

We don't see damn different in Wifi / Lan in Srilankan internet connection

Conclusion after proper mathematics
SLT speed of webfamily of mine
2MB - 8MB as they say in site
Minimum 2mb Guarantied
Average i'm getting 3.8mbbs
