For all the people who are suffering from slow SLT ADSL Connections:

Go to your area office or regional office and meet the Manager to lodge a complain. That person will say that they cannot take you off from the blacklist.

Then ask him for a written statement mentioning that they have blacklisted your connection because of the high usage. You can tell that you need a letter to complain to TRCSL. Then they will say that they are not in a position to offer a written letter.

The most coolest thing you can ever do to a SLT area manger if you're under FUP with NO FUP package.

yep machan it works

just have a chat with the DGM. he is a cool guy. when u call that number, his secretary will tell u that she will take down the complain, but try to go through her and talk with the manager
and dont tell that you are downloading peer to peer stuff (torrents)

ADSL පරන unlimited packages ඔක්කොම 25GB පැන්න ගමන් limit කරනව..හැමෝම දන්නවනෙ මේ seen එක...

මගෙ මේ පාර august මුල ඉඳන්ම limit කරලා. SLT පරයින්ට call කරලම එපා වෙලා ඉන්නෙ. මම ඊයෙ අවිස්සාවෙල්ලෙ branch එකට කතා කලා.මේ seen එක හොදට දන්න එකෙක් කතා කලේ...මේකයි ඌ කිව්වෙ.

ඌ ඉතින් හොදට කතාව හදාගෙන ඉන්නෙ අලුත් web family එක ගන්න කියන්න..මගෙ පහුගිය මාස වල 6 avg. usage එක 40GB පැනලලු.ඒකයි limit කරල තියෙන්නෙ..ඌ කියනව මේ limit කරන එකේ වෙනසක් වෙන්නෙ නෑලු..ඉස්සරහටත් මේක මේ විදියටම වෙනවලු.TRC එකේ කතාව මම කිව්ව,අපි agreement sign කරද්දි මෙහෙම දේකට agree වුනේ නෑ කියලත් කිව්ව.ඒත් man කියනව අවසාන තීරනේ ආයතනය සතුයිලු.අලුත් එක ගන්න බල කරන්නෙ නෑ.ඒත් ඒකට යන එක වඩා හොදයිලු.ඕකයි වුනේ..

මොකද බන් මේකට කරන්නෙ...මුන් දිගටම මේක කරයිද?...මට නම් එපා වෙලා ඉන්නෙ FB යන්නෙත් මාර අමාරුවෙන්.. අර petition එකේ වැඩේ මොකද?

SLT එකට call කරලා හරියන් නෑ මචන් ...උන් බෝලේ pass කරනවා ...Area manager හම්බවෙන්න පලයන් ..TRC documant එකත් අරන් ..සංවරව ගේම ඉල්ලාපන් ...මුන් මුට්ටියක් දාල බලන්නේ ...දැනටම ගොඩක් උන් අහුවෙලා ....අපි අහුවෙයි ඕවට .... SLT එකට නොයා TRC එකෙන්ම ගේම ඉල්ලලා වැඩේ ගොඩදාගන්න try කරපන් ...නෙත් FM "බලුම්ගලට" මතක් කරලා call කරපන් .....

Then you have to take your mobile out and call call these people while staying in the area managers cabin!

Explain the scenario to them and give the phone to area manager. Then they will fix your connection immediately
No need to go and report to TRCSL

After that they will not come to blacklist or limit your UNLIMITED INTERNET connection!
