Yes now all the 700,000 apps on the appstore is going to letterboxed because of the new iphones aspect ratio :rofl:

It will take at least a year to developers to upgrade even half of the 700000 to the new resolution lol,

same thing happened when apple introduced Iphone 4 retina display but then it was able to handle apps because even retina its same aspect ratio. developers only needed to add high resolution graphics to support retina and even it took more than a year to popularize and even still there are thousands and thousands of apps which doesnt support retina display

So your new iphone 5 will be a disaster for at least a year and apple even dont want to talk about letterbox problem :rofl:

LOL apple developer face this now but android developer face this every day and forever. So many phones/devices and so many screen resolutions. LOL You know how much space wasted and how much better app designes kept away due to this resolution issue in android.
If you think its okay then upgrading iphone4s apps to 5 is breeze.
Download Xcode 4.5 GM and add new resolution back.

even heard about Nokia Lumia 920 and Xperia Acro S ?
haha why you quoting only one statement from my entire post
I was talking about S3 and iphone 5.

And why can't you see at the end of the post i am saying
But like to switch to a Nokia Windows phone 8 device
Lumia 920 running Windows Phone 8

    CALL 0x754EA
Samsung Galaxy S3 US Version has 2GB ram:rolleyes:

    But it has dual Core

    නෑ තියෙනවා :D මේක US version එක ලොක්කෝ අයෙත් හොඳට බලපන්, 4G LTE තියෙන්නේ US version එකේ(Korean එකෙත් තියෙනවද කොහෙද) මේකේ තියෙන්න A15 Dual-core processor එකක් හරියටම iPhone 5 එකේ වගේ.

Machan Check It's Processor :P It's a DC rather QC, Exynos Sux meantime

Actualy machan GT, I'm not in a not really interest to buy iphone 5. (Still a huge fan of Apple ok :P)
One reason is its dimensions. I don't like height to width ratio in iphone 5. Also no point of spending such a lot of money to experience the same features already had in 4S.

Since I've already owned 4S, i like to go for an android device. With the concern of size n things, I guess Sony Xperia series would be ideal. Either Acro S or any upcoming model (also please tell me if any other device exist ).. Here Acro S get more pluses bcoz it has higher resistance to water where would be ideal for outside worker..

But I never been a fan of sony and never experienced. So I am looking you guys suppression on sony Xperia.

First I would like to Welcome you to Android ;).... I'm Using Apple iPhone 4S & Xperia S but I don't see any much difference!!!

but I love the XPS over my iPhone, because It's AOSP, I like to customize and do my extra ordinary works which marketers markets about there Phone,

and about SONY, I love the reliability, My XPS is fell on the road while I was trying to get into bus !! but It's ended up in a simple scratch. thus u know about Apple :(

about battery life Amazing SONY u'd done much more then anyone :)

I would Suggest you to wait for the Xperia V, Krait Processors Smoked Quad Cores of SIII,

As far as I know Android has a fluid display which allow apps to automatically re-sizes screen resolution according to the device's resolutions. But I don't know about how they manage to deal with different icon sizes, yet I believe there's a solution for that too

    Even the link above says
"Layout itself will adapt to different kind of resolutions automatically but you need to keep it mind that elements contained in a layout can look differently. The same image will be smaller on high-res screen than on low-res screen."

To over come that you have to supply different images or different icon etc.. And you can't arrange space and elements on main app efficiently coz you have to think about many resolutions.
If you make a basic app which supports all with fluid then its not called efficient coz you can make a better design and arrangement if you target one resolution. Even mobile web themes/sites act fluid.
