there is nothing like 'quad-core' apps as long as app support multi treading, it can work with multi core(regardless dual or quad)

android is natively multi treaded so even with apps without support for multi treading os can use multi core advantage when multitasking

do you know why wp7,7.5 doesn't have multicore? just because it doesn't support it. they already announced phones with multi core for wp8

not really. not all of them are iPhone fans. Most people prefer iOS over Android because ease of use. Yes we laugh when people say that because we know something technology but for an average person those "Specs" doesn't matter. iPhone 3GS still Runs iOS5 and also will receive iOS6 tomorrow and it has only 256 RAM and a 600MHz processor(Phone was released in summer 2009 ). So like I said specs don't matter to them as long as it runs smoothly and does what they want to do
