i used to Listen Forgotten Tomb/Thy Light/ Silencer 's album though im a huge death metal fan,
these days im going trough some depression Black Metal except those famous bands... after listen to them feel like "Fuck everything"

Thy Light is probably one of the best depressive black metal ..they need to release more stuff so is silencer..
forgotten tomb is probably the best example how katatonia influenced black metal bands..
dsbm cheers me up and empowers me in a strange way.

what are the good death metal bands these days? think I've only listened to a couple of well known bands..

I'd recommend you some doom for mood swings, though they are more addictive than anti depressants

btw, this is some good doom when you are depressed...incredibly depressive but gets your serotonin level high at the same time.
