There is No Way You can record it through an IPTV software cuz the Stream Comes Encrypted !! Normally in a ZTE router .. SLT assign the 4th Port as the IPTV & they have Installed the firmware of the router to Support that ! Try Connecting the Ethernet cable (internet- RJ45) to the IPTV port .. i bet you wont get the Internet Connection !

So there isnt anyway like recording through an IPTV method ... but you can record it through a TV Card !! A TV Card Which Support "Video In" & "Audio In" (Yellow + Red & White) !! These days you can buy a USB TV Card for a Cheap Price !!

not possible since we dont know what encryption method is being used.
By default, the STB connects to a Tomcat Server to get the navigation pages that we see. If you can get that from any IPTV software, then you most probably, will be able to access the video streams as well..

No config in router its just forwarding the stream to 4th port. You can do it with any supporting router and can forward to any port you like.

And you can get the stream URL, port etc.. and even watch encrypted video with disturbed picture.

I can't remember the encryption method on that IPTV device but never able to find any way to decode it on the internet back in 2010.
May be things are changed now. check your device model info on the internet and it says about the encryption method.
