I have been using this for the past few months.
Unfortunately they have removed most of the good channels which they advertised at the start (e.g. Discovery, History, Pogo, Ten sports, TNL, Siyatha). When asked, they give various stupid answers. A lot of the existing channels are worthless hindi and tamil ones.
The very basic Haier set top box that they provided is useless. (you can't even switch off the machine with your remote). At the start they promised that they would replace this box with a better one free of charge within a few months. That did not happen either.
This, by the way is not a HD transmission (although they provide HD channels). The set-top box doesn't even have a HDMI output for us to receive in HD.
They will say that rain is not going to affect the transmission, but the thing is the satellite down link that they get (from Videocon) gets interrupted during rain and foreign channels stops working. (Local channels e.g. Rupavahini and ITN continues to work even during rain)
Paying bills is another hassle. The procedure is quite a haphazard one. We have to deposit money in to a Seylan bank account and call them each and every time. To make things worse they answer the phone only from 9.00am to 5.00pm weekdays.
Extremely disappointed with the service!
To be fair to them, the good thing is that it is cheap and has local channels + very few good international channels like Star cricket HD.
