I seriously can't believe Ozil's move. I don't know what happened just when the morale of the people was going well after the Mou factor. But now things should look worst cz Xabi is out as well as Ozil is away. What can Madrid and Perez do to bring back the morale. Be it a world class Player but still it will take time for him to fit in. So no blames attached to the player but Perez, Zidane and Anci must get the blame.

True that Arsenal was looking for a good mid but still Despite the ISCO factor, Ozil was always a great play maker. But Isco is playing that Attacking Mid well and truely better than Ozil as Ozil made severe mistakes when he was given the chance in the Champions League game against BVB and Galata.

I'm really dissapointed with Perez decision to letting him away. I would want to see him at Madrid in the future. NOW BE AWARE OF GUNNERS cz Podoski/Ozil factor is so severe....Good Luck OZIL the Madrid LEGEND

In 2010, Real Madrid completed some of the best business they will ever do. They signed a young German from Werder Bremen for €13 Million. The former Schalke man, joined Real to be an understudy to Kaka. As Kaka remained sidelined for much of the 2010-11 season, the German started to make an impression. It was not long till Mesut Ozil was Real Madrid's preferred number 10. The fact that the 21 one year old was preferred over an ex- Fifa Player of The Year, speaks volume about his ability. As time went on Mesut became a crowd favourite. He was irreplaceable through the Mourinho era and continued his form into the 2013 season. Then came a certain Welshman. Just days ago, Mesut reaffirmed his desire to remain at Real and possibly put pen to paper on a new deal that would see him extend his stay till 2019. So far it seems that Ozil was keen on staying at the Bernabeu and fighting for a place against the likes of Isco, Bale and Di Maria. But apparently the Real Madrid management saw the German Maestro as surplus to requirements. Arguably the best play maker on this planet was deemed unnecessary by Los Blancos. Ozil over the past three years leads all of Europe in most assists as well as most chances created for club and country. The fact that Mesut is higher than the like of Messi and Mata truly shows that talent like this can not be bought.

I am keen to see what was the reason of this sale. Whether this was strictly a financial sale or whether he was deemed unnecessary. The Gelsenkirchen native has sold the second most shirts over the course of the past three years second only to a certain Portuguese winger. The fans have clearly made their voices heard in the Gareth Bale ceremony as the fans chanted "Ozil no se vende!"(Don't sell Ozil!) Mesut has done what many have failed, in earning the respect of the Madrid faithful.

What now? Who is going to take Ozil's thrown? I'm sure you already know the answer. In three games for Real Madrid, Isco has scored three goals. Not the primary role of a play maker, but an added bonus. Currently if you put these two side by side, Ozil has more experience and wider range of passing. But Isco is a much better finisher and has better movement off and on the ball than the German. As I said in my previous articles before all of this transfer business started, Isco seems to have a higher potential roof than Ozil. While Ozil can work on his finishing, fundamentals such as speed and acceleration can not be improved a great deal. Time will tell whether this risky endeavour will deem successful for Real.

Personally Ozil is one player I love watching. Reminiscent of Zidane and how glided over the grass. I was enthusiastic about the idea of Mesut ending his career at Madrid. Sometimes however it just isn't meant to be. I might be asking for too much but I hope that one day if possible Ozil, returns to the Santiago Bernabeu. Real has taken the best player away from the Premier League in Bale but has immediately returned the favour in gifting Arsenal the best play maker in the world. At the moment Real, do not need another play maker. But maybe next year a possible homecoming for an academy graduate who is unhappy with life under Mourinho? Who knows? I wish Mesut Ozil a successful future at Arsenal and hope that if anyone, he is the one to end their drought.

We may win La Decima but the void created by Ozil's departure can never be filled! Feelings are always greater than glory!

Now Ozil's Gone and we feel depressed but remember nobody is bigger than the Club!

Ozil will remain in our heart forever! Thanks for the awesome memories Ozil!

Mesut Ozil was sold to Arsenal due to his poor goal-scoring record, according to ex-Germany international Oliver Kahn.

"Mesut Ozil failed to make himself indispensable at Real
    Madrid,"

"Last season, he only scored nine goals in La Liga - in his position, behind the attackers, this is not enough. Especially if you consider that it's normal for Real Madrid to score a combined 100 goals per season.

"Those who want to survive at a club like Real must prove themselves in every match and show that they're the best of the best.

"It will be interesting to watch if Ozil can prevail in the English Premier League with his filigree way of playing."

Manchester United sign Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini

    article-2408682-1B978955000005DC-935_634x551.jpg

Manchester United finally secured the signature of Everton's Marouane Fellaini during the closing stages of transfer deadline day for £27.5m.The 25-year-old midfielder had been linked with a move to Old Trafford throughout the summer and was the subject of a failed £36m joint-bid with left-back Leighton Baines.

Having been given permission by Belgium to delay joining up with the national squad ahead of their World Cup qualifier with Scotland, Fellaini handed in a transfer request late on Monday in a bid to push through the move.

One hour after the transfer deadline passed at 11pm, it was revealed that United had eventually secured their man after completing the necessary paperwork.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has been unhappy with United's pursuit of his players and called the original joint bid for Fellaini and Baines as "derisory and insulting", but it will be good news for United boss David Moyes who is reunited with his former player.Fellaini leaves Goodison Park having joined them from Standard Liege six years ago for £15m.

It was a positive conclusion to what was a rather frustrating transfer window for Moyes whose only other signing in the summer was full-back Guillermo Varela, while he failed to sign Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera amid suggestions imposters posed as United officials.

United had also targeted a late loan swoop for Real Madrid's Fabio Coentrao but there was no confirmation of a deal in the hours after the deadline and it is understood they may not have completed the paperwork in time.Moyes has nevertheless insisted that he has total faith in the squad already at his disposal as he plots United's Premier League title defence after succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson as manager.

"From what I saw of the players, I'm more than happy with the players I've got," he said after United's 1-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday.Everton, meanwhile, will be pleased that they managed to hold on to Baines and were also able to bring in three new players on deadline day.

Midfielder James McCarthy was snared from Wigan Athletic, Romelu Lukaku joined on loan from Chelsea and a loan deal was also completed for Manchester City's Gareth Barry.
