Hi friends,

I need a favor..

I'm considering of importing a Mazda 3/ Mazda Axela ...
Please help me on this ...
And if anybody is using 2011-12 models please let me know about the vehicle and about the experience on the vehicle ...

Hi mchn i do have a 2006 mazda axela i love this car...it has awesome acceleration+very good build quality+sporty interior..killer handling/corner performance..maintenance for me same as toyota or nissan.I'm pretty sure later ones are even better...But i'm not so fond of the new smile face mazda...but the upcoming mazda 3 2014 is a sexy beast....but you have a choise between the axela and 3 while axela is the JDM it has a more powerful engine+better fuel economy and trim levels are bit different than that of a mazda 3...mazda axela has a stiffer suspension...other than that both cars are same....

Mchn indeed i also love hatchbacks...but you'll have a hard time selling it here again..very hard to sell hatchbacks..go for a sedan so you can use it for any occasion...they look sporty no matter sedan or a hatchback...focus more on the color of the car....mazda 3's are tailored for European emission and standards so the factory has to cut down performance and sound...axela sounds more meaner..

notice the difference in trim a/c vent switches..and mazda axela has high quality fabric seats...and the engine mazda 3 get 1.6l and mazda axela get 1.5vvti even thought it's 1.6l it has low bhp than the 1.5 version...mazda 3's also do come with 1.5 so check and buy..

thinking of getting the vehicle through him...
Probability scenario there is such that there are lot of Mazda Axela in and finding Mazda 3 is almost impossible unless you are bring it down through a agent (Colonial Motors)
As you said Sedan has my high preference since after all hatch back is a symbol for compact vehicles in SL.

By the way I checked the prices here from Colonial Motors and currently they are not bringing down the Mazda 3 but Mazda 2 (zoom zoom)
and the bnew price is 52k++
So Mazda 3 would be lot more pricier if they bring down..

And the new tech Mazda has applied which is skyactive which has made the vehicle more fuel efficient by reducing the weight of the vehicle parts. Thats also a good news since we expect the Fuel efficiency also in here after all..
