Being in Virtusa for 4 years this is how I can rate ,
01. Salary & Package (Allowances, Bonuses etc) - 5 (everybody knows salary scales here. There are ways to get above industry scales as well but only for a handful of people. ahh there are bonuses but small amount compared to outside but comes with a lot of restrictions and conditions.)
02. Benefits (Trips, Free Food and snack,) - 3 (Most of the time no trips or some "athin kyte" type trips. Budget is allocated account wise and something like Rs. 600/= per head for a quarter. They had withdrawn lunch buffet sometimes back. evening snack is free but comes only after 7. 15 . Utter crap snack btw. Tea is free but same crap. )
03. Working Environment (Facilities at office like GYM and office furniture) - 8 (No complains here, GYM is ok)
04. Work Difficulty(Hard, Stressful, Late nights) - 6 (work is not hard but stressful. Late nights is become a habit rather a necessity.)
05. Work Type(Interesting, New things to learn, boring) - 7 (Purely depends on your project and technology)
06. Office Culture (Staff and co workers friendliness, flexibility of management) - 5 (co workers are fine. but management
. In some projects even peers are also not that good, Lot of double standards, internal politics, personal preferences and stuff especially when it comes to performance appraisals)
Was been at IFS in 2008 as an intern I can rate (as I saw in 2008),
01. Salary & Package (Allowances, Bonuses etc) - 7 (Not astronomical but good. Being an intern I got 15K in 2008)
02. Benefits (Trips, Free Food and snack,) - 9 (Loads of fun trips and events. No cost at all. Very generous when it comes to food. Lunch buffet is very promising. Lot of our interns got fat)
03. Working Environment (Facilities at office like GYM and office furniture) - 7 (GYM, swimming membership was given from leading places outside. Building is not that modern btw.)
04. Work Difficulty(Hard, Stressful, Late nights) - 9 (NO stress. Very rare late nights)
05. Work Type(Interesting, New things to learn, boring) - 6 (I believe this should be more intersting now than in 2008 with the new .Net adoption)

Thanks for sharing machan... When it comes to salary scales and nightshifts, virtusa is a bad place its known by everyone.... ITs not the place it used be to 5 or 6 years ago...
Since they recruit interns trainees in large scale they dont care about employee turn over. thats the problem of large companies where we are just a small person
this is really true... i was there for a few months and then left without any hesitation...
there's no end to late night work.
