I agree PhysX is just overrated and is going to die soon. DirectX 12 is coming at the end of 2015. And all current generation cards are supported. So even if someone buys a GTX760 or R9 270X both are supported.

PhysX is not overrated it's just some effects in which improve the quality of the game so it's depend on the preference of the person some people like it and some people don't like it but it's not overrated as you stated it's solely a preference. beside it's not just Nvidia PhysX there are many more Physics engines like Havok and Bullet so if Physics is overrated why ATI recently wanted to support to Physics with their OpenCL implementation?

FLOPS කියන්නේ r FLoating-point Operations Per Second

i7 4770 CPU is the best choice. AMD eats power and with SL electricity price.. not a wise choice.

B85/H87/Z87 chipset MB from good brand

If you are not OCing go for a normal DDR3 1600mhz/1800mhz RAM (16GB is better)

Small SSD (120GB for OS) + large HDD (RAID)

24+ Inch IPS Monitor is the best choice for graphic work (Dell ultrasharp is superb, but might be little expensive)

If you are not big on the video editing, then we can offer the following.

Why settle for a GTX760 when you can get a GTX770?

    4th Generation Intel Core i7 4770 (3Y)
    Gigabyte B85-HD3 Motherboard (3Y)
    Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 1600MHz (LT)
    MSI Geforce GTX770 2GB GDDR5 (3Y)
    Transcend 128GB SSD (3Y)
    WD Blue 1TB (2Y)
    Asus 24x DVD R/W (1Y)
    Raidmax RX-735AP 735W 80+ Bronze Modular (2Y)
Raidmax Super Altas with 2x LED fans and side panel window (1Y)
    AOC i2369VM 23" Full HD IPS (3Y)

    Rs 205,000/= including cash discount.

Check prices everywhere for that setup and then tell us that we are expensive ;)

what are you going to use your SSD for ?

When you want to buy a system for Video Editing you need to contact those who know the subject. If you get a system are you planning to change it after 6 Months of use when you find that the system that you selected does not work for you need ?? ??
