    nop it wont. but if u overclock too (voltage) much, it will burn the card.

    oh! I played Skyrim with loads of mods from my old laptop (Radeon 4650 1gb), after a month or so laptop broke. Service center guys said the vga chip was broken. now I'm afraid to install skyrim to my new one (Radeon 8670 1gb).

    that is because laptops arent meant for playing games for consecutive hours. probably your gpu chipset burnt out because of the heat. if you want to play proper games, get a desktop, or a gaming laptop/ or a laptop with good cooling mechanism for that matter
