tried every forum answer bng. bt no use my one is a ProLink and Ubuntu is just able to identify it. There was a third part software i guess which act as a usual dongle software. Bt without messaging facility.

Now you are a real computer user. Machan mulin tikak awul wage thamai..e unata use karaddi patta interesting..habai uba asa wenna ona..

Ubata advance dewal ona wenne na..GUI eka godak windows wage familiar wenna hadala thiyenawa (New Folder, Eject etc.). Habai windows tharam minisunta huru naha (this doesn't mean ubuntu is not user friendly. It depends on how much you have experience about linux)

Godak welawata oyata terminal eka use karanna wenawa...reason eka thamai gui ekata wada terminal eka samahara welawata lesiy..

Linux wala file system eka issellama allaganna...eka dannathuwa use karanna epa.Windows wage nemei...harima clean. Ex : all configuration files are in /etc folder..e wage..ita passe simple commands tikak huru wenna...ls, cd, apt-get install , sudo wage ewa..mewa thamai mata nam godak ona wenne generally. (ita amatharawa oya karana wada anuwa eka wenas wenawa.)

Install karapu applications hoyaganna eka thamai mulinma amaru wade..ekata (windows + A) eka press karanna..ethakota unity launcher eka open wenawa..ethana search karama thiyena ewa okkoma pennanawa...

Aluth softwares ubuntu application installer eken search karala daganna..mata nam desktop eka tikak awul...eka 100% patta kiyanna ba..ubuntu wala gui ekka thawa godak dura gamanak thiyenawa

මේකත් කියන්න ඕන linux කියන්නේ windows වලට alternative එකක් නෙමේ. හොඳම දේ අදාල දේට අදාල දේ යූස් කරන එක.

Machang mamath meka anumatha karanawa mama windows 8, linux - ubuntu 14.4 LTS server and desktop, mac os mandrivics danata use karanawa


os eka kiyanne ban ape computer program duwanna support karana. ape computer eke hardware palanaya karaganna udau karana ekak. magen nag idea eka mona os eka use kalath aulak naa. ekama dee api use karanna ona apita wadipurama productive os eka.

mama nag mainly use karanne windows but I'm opensource programmer. This save lot of time improve my productivity.

One Advice for you if you are average user who use office and play video games windows is the best mach.

If you want to take experiment go beyond if you want to do something manually then gofor linux. ubuntu has now getting closer to windows but that is not the fun part of linux machang. if you are missed the fun even you used linux you are using reduced version of windows.

so my idea is use os based on your need.

PS: but i encourage you to install linux on your computer and have a try.
