you've spent way too much money on stupid things bro..
there's no such thing called lap top servicing, or thermal compounds from singapore. what a load of bullcrap. jeez/

all those damn machines come from china. either from foxconn, quanta, compal or some other no name chinese factory. they put shiny hp or dell logo and sell.

first gather your specs.
on the list give maximum priority to
size, weight and the screen resolution.

then go to a reputed store and buy urself a damn laptop.

(ඊට පස්සේ අවුරුද්දක් වගේ ලැප් එක දුවන්න ඇති. මම ගොඩක් වෙලා ලැප් එක පාවිච්චි කරනවා. ඉතින් ඒකේ ලෙඩ ආව අම්බානකට. මම ඒක පැත්තකට දාලා තාත්තාගේ ඔපීසියේ එකක් පාවිච්චි කලා. ඔන්න ටිකක් කල් ගිහින් ආයේ ලැප් එකක් ගන්න ආසාව අවා. දුන්නා හොද මාර්කට් රීසර්ච් එකක්. ඔප්ශන්ස් තිබ්බේ Dell, HP, Toshiba. මට ඕනා ගේම් මරන්න එකක්. budget එක රු.100,000-110,000/= වගෙ)

කව දාවත් ඔය Price එකට උබ කියන වැඩ කරගන්න ලෙඩ එන්නේ නැති ලැප් එකක් හොයා ගන්ට බෑ ..... අනිවා .... අව්රුද්දෙන් ඔය උබ කිව්ව රීසර්ච් එකෙන් හොයා ගත්ත හැම ලැප් එකක් ම ලෙඩදෙනවා ටිකක් හරි හරියයි Toshiba-Tecra, Dell-Latitude

උබ ඔය කියන වැඩ වලට ASUS,MSI, Gaming ලැප් එකක් වත් ගන්ට වෙයි ....
උබේ රීසර්ච් එකේ ලැප් වලයි ඔය මම කිව්ව Gaming ලැප් වලයි Spec එක හා සමාන වෙයි නමුත් මිල Gaming laps වල වැඩි වෙයි ... ඒකෙන්ම වෙනස තේරෙයි ...

අර Samson IT කතාවේ උන්ට තේරිලා උබ ටිකක් ඇනයක් කියල ... එහෙම උනාම උන් ඔය වගේ දේවල් කරනව ... මොකද උනුත් දන්නවා උබ බලාපොරොත්තු වෙන දේවල් Dell ලැප් එකෙන් කොරන්න බෑ කියලා පස්සේ උබ උන්ට කරදරයක් වෙයි කියල උන් ලිස්සලා ගිහිල්ල තිත්ත ඇත්ත ....

Ane manda ban umbe bad luck da kiyalath hithenawa. Laptop lk eken gaththa i5 2nd gen, 1GB ext bag, 8gb ram lap ekak thiyenawa dan >3 years. Kisi Awulak na. Battery Eka replace karanna one echcharai.

Suze and weight matters if you need a portable one. Don't go for netbook crap either. Just a 13" MacBook or some mid range hp/sell will do.

Laptops for 135,000 is still in the low end for gaming laptops. She'd at least 250,000 if you want to play 2015 games with ultra quality, or just be happy with casual gaming.
Even the Apple come from China. OP spent too much money of features that didn't matter. An SSD upgrade or ram upgrade would have paid off nicely.

sadly that's the true story but after sale service is more important to our countries. they tend to use cheap spare parts to lower their cost for a product and innocent people like us pay the price.

උන්ට කියුවේ නෑ බං මම මේ වගේ ඒවා බලාපොරොත්තුවෙනවා හම්බුනහම කරන්න කියලා. හැබැයි informatics එකේ එකාට කියුවා. ඌ තමා බොක්කෙන්ම මට කියුවේ ලැප් එකක් ගන්න යද්දි බලන්න ඕනා දේවල් ඔය ගේම මරන්ට ගියාට වෙන ඇත්ත තත්වේ අනම් මනම්, ගොඩක්ම අර ඔරිජිනල් වොරන්ටියට සර්විස් එක.. ඒක නිසා නෝර්මල් ප්ලේස් එකකින් අරන් සර්විස් එක හොඳට කරගත්තා. කේබල් එකේ සීන් කෝන් එක ආවේ මගේම වැරැද්දකින්ද මන්දා..

ඒ උනාට අදටත් ලොකු රහසක් තියෙනවා මේ ලැප්ටොප්, කම්පියුටර් පාර්ට් විකුණන එක අස්සේ. ඒක තමා බිස්නස් ලොජික් එක කියන්නේ. මම උන්ට බඩේ පාර ගහන්නේ නෑ. හැබැයි ඒ බිස්නස් ලොජික් එක අපේ සල්ලි වලට තට්ටු කරන්න කලින් තමා අපි පරිස්සම් වෙන්න ඕනා. කිරියේ නම් අනිවාර්යෙන්ම ලැපක් ගන්න කලින් හොඳට හොයල බලන එවුන් ඇති. නමුත් ඒකේන් පිට එවුන් හරි අඩුයි. මම දන්න කීයක්නම් ඔය නිකන් ගනන් අඩු කසි කබලක් ගත්තද MS Word වැඩක් කරන්න, Film එකක් බලන්න විතරක් කියලා. අන්තිමට ටික කාලෙකින් ලැප් එක සර්විස් කරන්න ගියහම කාපු කටුයි, වෙච්ච පාඩුයි බැලුවහම අලුත් එකක් ගන්න ගාන ගිහින්.

අන්න හොඳ වැඩක් මචං.. ටිකක් overprice තමා. නමුත් සර්විස් එක හොඳයි. අර කිරියේ ඉන්න උරාජ් අයියත් ඕවට දස්සයි කියල අහලා තියෙනවා.

Dell N5110 i7

මම ගාව තියෙන්නේ Dell N5110 i7 2nd Gen ලැප් එකක්. මම මේක ගත්තෙත් laptop.lk එකෙන්. ගත්තේ 2012 අග බාගයේ. ලැප් එක ගත්ත දවසේ ඉදන් ගේම ගැහුවා. එක පාරක් මේකට අකුණු ගහල Lan & USB3 තියන පොඩි board එකක් පිච්චුනත් එක්ක, replace කලේ නෑ . දැන් අරං අවුරුදු 2 පැනල. හැබැයි කිසි අවුලක් නැතුව යකා වගේ වැඩ අද වෙනකං, කට්ටක් නම් සෙට් කලේ නෑ මේ ලැප් එක කවදාවත්. මම හිතන්නේ කල් පවතින්න ලැප් එකක් ගන්න පොඩි luck එකක් තියෙන්නේ ඕනේ ලංකාවේ නම්. මොකද ලැප් අරගෙන මාසයක් යන්න ඉස්සෙල්ල නා ගත්ත යාලුවෝ මටත් ඉන්නවා.
