:love:Batman: Arkham Knight PC beta patch leaks and works miracles

    gdMkHj0.jpg

A patch was accidentally released to Steam users to opted into beta testing for the troubled PC release of Arkham Knight, and users are reported that it has fixed the game’s problems.

Sales of the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight were suspended in September due to the game’s poor performance. The game was removed from digital and retail stores worldwide until the PC version could be brought in-line with the performance of the console versions. A patch for the game recently went into testing.

Kotaku are reporting that some users have been able to download the patch – which has since been reversed with a second patch, presumably because it’s not quite ready for release yet – and have found that the game is finally playing well.Users are reporting that smooth 60FPS gameplay with settings maxed out is now a possibility, and that performance issues have vanished once the patch is installed.

This is in line with reports we had heard that the game would be fixed by September, and hopefully the final version of the patch will release very soon. Batman: Arkham Knight originally released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 23.
