you are wrong dude i didn't say Souls game are bad i just saying they are not likely to win GOTY because they are not every ones game and i will say this soul game are not perfect they have faults too the podin you have a hard time acknowledging and a RPG like witcher skyrim fallout is for every one all can enjoy those game but most of them can't enjoy souls game.
yes that true there is no hand holding in souls game you just have to figure it out by your self bur for some it's annoying souls game will give you freedom to play how ever you want and it's not the only game that give you the same freedom there are other game that give you the same freedom
but in other RPG like witcher your choose actually matters even form the side quests but in dark Souls isn't actually matters you will always have the two choose.

when you play witcher 3 you will understand why it's the GOTY and why it's beat all the other games.
Game awards GOTY is about opinion. And as well as someone's favourite game. It's all about opinion. Some people who has played Fallout 1 or 2 will say those games are better than Fallout 3 or 4. It's about opinion.
But it's not fair to compare two great games and say this one is better than the other. Specially with RPG's since one game can differ entirely from the other.
But Dark Souls is one of the Best RPGs ever made. No doubt for me about it. Bloodborne is in the nominees is it not? If it weren't a PS4 exclusive then it'd definitely get much many votes.
There's no need to speak about witcher 3. It is the best game of 2015 and will be one of the greatest game creations ever along with witcher 2. (But it's not popular as witcher 2 and some people don't like it. For being a PC exclusive and maybe because of its' difficulty). If I say that witcher 2 was one of the greatest RPGs and if there was no Witcher 3, then people would disagree a lot. But that's the truth. Witcher 2 is also one of the greatest RPGs.
