Irithyll of Boreal Valley.... One of the most beautiful, breathtaking landscapes I've ever seen in a video game The pictures don't do justice. This place is an absolute beauty
But filled with one of the most toughest enemies I've encountered so far. The Pontiff Knights.









Pontiff Sulyvahn - The hardest boss I've encountered in this game. I absolutely love this boss fight
The boss is a bit similar to the Fume Knight in Dark Souls 2 Crown of the iron king DLC. Another fantastic boss fight. Maybe there's a connection between the two.
Fighting Sulyvahn Solo is one though task. I easily beat him with two summons but it wasn't that interesting so reloaded a save and tried soloing





Tried about 30 times and finally beat him The fight isn't frustrating at all. No matter how many times you die you are just addicted to try it again.
Some shots of his could be parried but since I don't use shields for the bosses the only way I could parry was with my Uchigatana & the Farron Greatsword. Uchigatana didn't work at all. Used the Farron greatsword.
Parrying and countering is awesome! But timing is everything.
