Finished the game just now. I must say I didn't have this much fun from a 2D platformer after Ori & The Blind Forest.
19 hours and 46 minutes spent to finish my first playthrough.

If there should be a Dark Souls 2D game, then this is it I guess. Most of the elements are there from the swordplay, to character builds, and gameplay and difficulty and rewarding system and upgrades.

An RPG platformer. Totally worth it

The bosses aren't that hard imo except for a few including the last boss which imo is the best one but of course there aren't a lot of things a 2d game can do. But this does almost everything right.
But the weapons need some patches like increase damage output on single handed weapons and reconstruct a good skill tree and whatnot but other than that the game is brilliant.

A top contender for the best indie game this year imo.
