Everyone should be free to leave or stay, but they have to pay the student loan working anywhere in the world. Then they are paying back to the country at least in someway and helping the younger generation.

yes we cant survive with a vintage education system which gives opportunity only to a handful of people. we might have saved millions of rupees going out of the country if we had fixed this problem in the past.

Even those handful of people will not get quality education or facilities they deserve to gain their full potential. They should also understand totally free quality university education for everyone is not achievable and better student loan system is needed for the education system. It will vastly benefit them too.

I wasn't blaming anyone. Just stating a fact. Loan system would be better though.
Gonna do the same. I'm not from a government uni though. No point of doing research here. Useless.

Yes and make a student loan system to local students. So they can earn a degree for free and pay the loan when they earn. Exceptionally talented best students will get free scholarships.

How hard they try any sri Lankan government can not maintain free university system to mass and take education to the next level with tax rupees only.
We have talented students in the country but education quality and facilities are lot lower than the expected level.

yes its all about understanding the reality. being a 3rd world country powered by loan we got no way to offer free university level education to everyone. What Sri Lanka is doing now is selecting a handful of people because it can't afford everyone. anyone who did a levels will know what i mean.
