Almost all the books you've mentioned are historical fiction or about the meaning of life in different point of views.
I have read the sinhalese translation of the Old Man & the Sea when I was little. Really good.

Haven't you read Maxim Gorkey, Leo Tolstoy & Anton Chekovs books?
They are revolutionary and really good too. Of course almost all of their books centers around Soviet Russia & the working people.
I mostly read fantasy now. Because it creates a whole different world to live in. If not fantasy then surely something I'm excited & dream about.
I think I'm goona read Mario Puzo next.
His books are great.
Then maybe tolkien. Given that I buy the paperbacks. Not gonna enjoy reading E books.
And check out Andrzej Sapkowski's Witcher saga if you are into that.
There ain't a proper english traslation. Specially for the later books in the series but the sieries is really great.
I mean I love the game wholeheartedly and the books suited me very well too.
