Voice over LTE කියන සීන් එක මේකයි. උබල LTE/4ජී තියන ෆෝන් එකක් යූස් කරනවා නම්, උබලට කෝල් ගන්න බෑ LTE/4ජී වලින්. ෆෝන් එක කරන්නේ කෝල් එකක් ගන්න ඕනේ උනහම ඉක්මනින්ම 3ජී වලට මාරු කරනවා සිග්නල්. ඒක තේරෙන්නේ නැත්තේ ඉක්මනින්ම ෆ්‍රීකවෙන්සි මාරු කරන හින්දා.


ඒත්, ඉනකමින් කෝල් එනකොට සමහර වෙලාට අව්ල්. කෝල් එන්නේ නෑ 4ජී ඔන්ලි දැම්මොත් කෝල් ගන්න වත්, එනකෝල් එන්නෙ වත් නෑ

VoLTE කියන්නේ Operator specific phone configuration එකක්. Network feature එක තිබුනට phone එකේ active වෙන්න firmware upgrade කරන්න ඔනේ voLTE calls ගන්න ඔනේ නම්. Dialog අය Samsung, Apple හරහා මේ firmware එක ලගදීම release කරයි.

Firmware update උනාට පස්සේ Enable VoLTE කියලා එකක් Settings Menu එකට එනවා. ඒක enable කරපුහම phone එකේ උඩ දකුණු කෙලවරේ 2G/3G කියලා පෙන්නන තැන VoLTE කියලා වෙනස් වෙනවා.

මුලින්ම VoLTE firmware එක හැම VoLTE capable phone එකකටම එයි කියලා හිතන්න අමාරුයි. Dialog එකෙන් firmware develop කරනවාට Samsung & Apple වලට ගෙවන්න ඔනේ.

VoLTE වාසි

1. 2G/3G calls වලට සාපෙක්ෂව වියදම හුගක් අවුයි operatorට
2. අනාගතේ RCS (Rich Communication Services) launch කරන්න පුලුවන් VoLTE platform හරහා. ඒ කියන්නේ watsapp වගෙ app වලින් කරන්න පුලුවන් දේවල් phone dialer එක හරහා කරන්න පුලුවන් (File Sharing, Image Sharing during calls)
3.Call එකක් dial කරහම අනික් පැත්තෙන් ring වෙන්න යන කාලය තත්පරයකට අඩුයි. 2G/3G වල තත්පර 4/8ක් යනවා
4.3G HD voice වලට quality වඩා එක හොදයි. Stereo quality තියනවා
5.Viber, watsapp වලට වඩා battery usage එක අඩුයි
