It is not allowed. They are called hybrid inverters and due to safety reasons CEB does not allow. But you can have an off grid if you really want.

I was managing this tread just to pass genuine information but not to sell. For an example the guy who said they sell German panals, Brand Chint is no where in rankings and its a chinease. If people do not want i will stop.

Now CEB is allowing only the companies registered with Sustainable Eneargy Authority to do installations.

LOL ..... machn you can call the company and request for details..... Sun Bird is also doing the chint brand with chinese panels..... don' t pass wrong information ..... Plus chint is the main company who supply most of the electrical goods to CEB....

Question was whether Chint was German? Lets not argue on it. I have first hand information yet i am not passing any wrong information. Anyway Chint is not a key supplier to CEB.

Do not intend to argue as its not productive but go to independent sites and verify.
