Dear Friends
I went to Ravi perera finally, he fixed it ,thanks for your inputs appreciate lot, but i have to wait 12 hours there
he got million things to do ,thats the issue so he get a very little time to check things, but hes better than any other mechanics for nissan's, so i recommend him for all nissan car issues, his charges are reasonable, only issues is u have to be ready to rot there for hours may be whole day .

Hi I had a engine knock most of the mechanics in colombo couldnt figure the reason so did many things but didnt work so ,finally i went to Ravi thanks to Auto lanka good mechanics lists,, so he figured there are spacer in the IAC
valve need to remove that and he did some fine tuning , prob is over,, if you have a nissan always go there but make sure you got no other work , u have to wait days or 10 hours or so coz he busy like crazy

Hey guys my dad has a fb15 1500cc automatic super saloon splend, n it only does around 5~6kmpl in colombo drivin....gave a tune up still da same n the ride is horrible.... It's very uncomfortable goin on the roads as the ride is very hard... changed the shocks still da same....Hey guyz any ideas why da high consupmtion n why da suspension is so bad???? and Can u do ecu upgrades n modifications to da QG15de???? n also to da suspension?????

I had the same kind of issue and my mechanic (Ravi @ Kelaniya) reset the ECU com unit and reduced the RPM (which has gone little high) and after that she start giving me good econ: now i go around 10-12km per ltr with in city. Check (your cars) sensors and injector coils (plugs), filters etc etc as SIRA mentioned in the thred. This should work for you.
Updated: I have cleaned my Injectors and changed my filters at the same time, sorry that i forgot to mention that in my initial post.

If ravi said nothing is wrong, then actually nothing is wrong... I've visited him many time.. once the car didnt move at all, and didnt accelerate and the airflow sensor was gone.. unlike other garagaes, without telling to replace the throttle body, he removed all the pieces and ammended the sensor and car started working like never before with good acceleration... are you sure it did 9-10 in city? cuz given its nissan, its a miracle if it does 10.. 7 in city would be the ideal figure for nissan.. sometimes mine does 6.8 too after everything is in order..

There is a good place for All Nissan vehicle service & repair in Kelaniya Bulugaha Junction his name is Ravi Perera.He worked A*W for 15 years & he has very good trouble shooting knowledge.He is doing only Nissan & he is a Nissan expert.
I went last week & he found my bad noise when im turn on the AC.I went several places & lost my time.Finally i went to Ravi & he sorted out my issue.

Finally i took it to my mechanics (expericed guy call "Ravi" at Kelaniya) and he a did tune-up for me. As Don said, i think i had a bit off tununed in my car. anyway, i have no more mis-Ignitions anymore.

hi If you are in Kadawatha there is best place near Bulugaha handiya. The person name is RAVI. It is before Food city and in front of Sahal sala from kiribathgoda side. All are know that place. He is doing only Nissan. Meet him and get the appoinment. Rates are very very resonabel.

the problem is if the injector cleaning is needed you have to again go to another place and clean the injectors.. so another cost to that place needs to be given... most good tuneup places does injector cleaning.. for example some mechanics who used to work the Nissan company does the complete tuneup, and they are very good... once I went to Ravi at kelaniya.. for the whole tuneup including injector cleanup he takes only Rs.1800/- and does a solid job.. there is another guy called dharshana who worked for Nissan in mabole.. he does all the cars.. he takes Rs. 6500/- though.. I have been to all three of them for my 2 Preseas... (Dhammika, Ravi and Dharshana).. My first recommendation would be dharshana though...because I initially had a miss in my car and it didnt go away after the tuneup at dhammika... but after taking it to dharshana it was fixed...
