    Project CARS 2 does not use Denuvo as it’s too “restrictive” and would “annoy” its users

    Slightly Mad Studios’ Ian Bell has revealed that their new sim racing game, Project CARS 2, will not be using the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Now this is a pleasant surprise for a triple-A game as most of them are using it.​
    As Ian Bell told SpotTheOzzie in a really lengthy interview:​
    “We don’t have Denuvo. We looked at it back in February and we decided that it was too restrictive and would annoy our users, so we dropped it.”

    Bandai Namco has already sent us a review code for Project CARS 2 and although its embargo has been lifted, we’ll delay our PC Performance Analysis in order to test the game with its promised Day-1 patch.

    Vampyr has been delayed until Spring 2018

    Focus Home Interactive has announced that its upcoming RPG, Vampyr, has been delayed until Spring 2018. According to DONTNOD’s CEO, this delay was caused by a technical issue. Moreover, this delay will give the team extra time to polish and balance the game before releasing it.

    As Oskar Guilbert, CEO of DontNod Entertainment, stated:​
    “Delaying the release of a project you hold dear is always a tough decision. However, we believe that meeting a deadline should never compromise quality. We were still convinced just a few weeks ago that we would be able to release Vampyr this year. Unfortunately, a technical issue – now solved – has set our teams’ schedule back at the end of the development.

    This delay allows us enough time for all the polishing and balancing phase, much needed for a game of Vampyr’s scope, with its ambitious, semi-open world, its complex narrative and deep RPG mechanics that give players a real impact on the world.”

    Vampyr is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and promises to feature versatile RPG skill-trees that change the way you play, a wide range of crafted weapons and powerful Vampire abilities to defeat a large and unique bestiary, and will offer the ability to save or kill every civilian (and these decisions will shape the game’s story).

    Need for Speed Payback – Official PC System Requirements

    Electronic Arts has revealed the official PC system requirements for Need for Speed Payback. According to the specs, PC gamers will at least need an Intel Intel i3 6300 or an AMD FX 8150 CPU with 6GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon HD 7850 GPU in order to play it at 720p with 30fps on Low settings.

    In order to play the game on High settings at 1080p with 60fps, PC gamers will need an Intel i5 4690K or an AMD FX 8350 CPU with 8GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 480 or an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card.Need for Speed Payback is currently planned for a November 10th release, and you can view its full PC requirements below.
