What I mean is Sri Lankan can go other country like UK, USA, Canada, Aussie, NZ, Germany, Swiss as refugee but Sri Lankan people don't want others to come in Sri Lanka as refugee for temporary. What kind of logic is this

What I mean is Sri Lankan can go other country like UK, USA, Canada, Aussie, NZ, Germany, Swiss as refugee but Sri Lankan people don't want others to come in Sri Lanka as refugee for temporary. What kind of logic is this

If people (Citizens) in UK, USA, Canada, Aussie, NZ, Germany, Swiss protest or against about taking sri lankan refugees to their country, governments of those countries must listen to the people and they must stop taking refugees from sri lanka.

Since the people in those countries didn't complain that they don't want sri lankan refugees coming to their countries, what happened in those countries related to sri lankan refugess was not a problem.

But in here, Majority of Sri Lankans don't like taking Myanmar refugees in, so what an unbiased/proper government should do is listen to the people and stop taking those Myanmar refugees into the country

It's not a surprise that your tiny brain can't understand the difference between above mentioned countries and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka is a third world country, we cant even provide for the people we already have here and you think it's a good idea to bring more in?

And according to immigration and emigration act under 1948 No 20, giving permanent residency to an immigrant is forbidden by law.
