Dear parents we trusted Wasanthi Brown with our 1 year old baby at her day care centre and she abused our son on day 3 and kept him locked out of the house for hours to the extent that neighbours got worried and caught it on camera. She is a monster and should not be running a day care centre for kids. Please pass this message around and make sure this doesn't happen to anyone's kids. Our baby was saved within three days and saved 15 other kids and we feel blessed in some way.
On Saturday the 23rd of June Wasanthi was taken in for questioning and was sadly released on bail clearly through connections from a higher power that undermined even the police as she was not even remanded for 24hours. We as parents will not let this go and will see it through till the end. What was done to our kid was truly cruel and a punishable offence.
Her daughter Sanchia claimed to have been on the other side of the door which doesn't add up as her mums story was different. Even so how blind and inhuman can one be to watch my son scream his head off for hours. What about the effect it had on the other children who were at the day care? The neighbors have confirmed and given in their statements saying that our son was screaming for hours in distress. Mind you he was sick that day with a slight runny nose and Washanthi was informed and was given his nasal drops if needed, yet she kept him outside exposed in just a pamper.
We have been blessed and had many people reach out to us with help and advise and we are so grateful for this. Kids are the future and their foundation is really important and Day cares & Montessori's should have stronger regulations to operate and not let monsters or unprofessional inhuman people like this run them. The saddest part is that this family was known to us personally and hence we trusted our baby with her and on many occasions we had recommended the day care to our friends and clearly we were wrong. If they think that they can calm or discipline a one year old child like this that goes to show that they have no idea how to look after or teach children .
We have taken all necessary steps to make sure Wasanthie Brown is brought to justice and await our court hearing in July. As of Monday Browns Childcare & Activity Center was back in operation with parents dropping there kids off there.
