Battlerite Royale will fully release as a free to play game on February 19th
Stunlock Studios today announced that its action-packed MOBA and Battle Royale mash-up, Battlerite Royale, will move out of Steam Early Access into a highly anticipated free-to-play commercial launch on February 19th.
Battlerite Royale is a hybrid between an Action MOBA and a Battle Royale game based on the critically acclaimed arena brawler Battlerite.
Peter Ilves, Game Director at Stunlock Studios, said:
In Battlerite Royale players skydive from the back of a wyvern and land on Talon Island to explore the lush and colourful surroundings, stumbling upon a variety of items and intriguing consumables such as barrel disques, rocket boots, and bear traps. During fast-paced, cutthroat matches players rely on vigilance and quick wits, utilizing treasured collectibles to overthrow opposing players, grab their loot, and ultimately be the last one standing.

Battlerite Royale features combat from a top-down perspective, and promises to offer a unique take on the Royale genre by providing a wide range of ability-based Champions to pick from, each with unique skills and playstyles.
