Didn't know till now it works on viruses too.
However this news item is not exactly untrue..... I cannot say much about this news. Possibly someone is trying to make a fast buck by re-labeling an antiseptic spray.
"An antiviral spray against the coronavirus has been developed in Shanghai Public Health Clinical Centre, according to the People's Daily.
The spray can be put into the throat as a shield from the virus. The spray can greatly help protect front-line medical staff, yet mass-production for public use is not available for now, it said."
