I am overweight (more than 130kg) and thinking about going to a gym.
But I have not been to a gym before.
I am planing on doing cardio most of the time.
So what should I wear and what are the recommended underwear also ?

buy a pair of ruining shoes, reebok, nike.Buy an addidas cotton trouser(very comfortable) shirt wise get the largest possible till you become thin.Don't buy cheap wear because they wear out and discolor very quickly.Invest in few pair of branded clothes from nike or addidas.go for addidas shorts with underwear attached in them, provides good ventilation

    ලංකාවේ.. ලංකාවේ
    get
Bottom (cotton one is recommended 1-6 months until u get used to wear nylon/polyester - Bcoz nylon will stick to your body)
T-Shirt (Cotton is recommended for 1-6 months, Bcoz nylon will stick to your body, bodiya pena nisaa.... )
You will feel uncomfortable wearing nylon.
get shoes with light weight. walking shoes will be little high cost. so you can check with cricket shoes.
    sports Supporter (Pati Jokaa)

but recommended to use nylon (Sport wear) which will bring your body to perfect heat faster and also cools when needed. So dont spend much on bottoms or t-shirts initially. but do it as soon as when you comfortable.

make sure to do stretching exercise otherwise fat/overweight people will get muscle damages often without stretching. telling this by experience even. people do not consider this until they get muscle damages.

Thanks. Yes initially I'll go for some cotton and a sports supporter. Hope a boxer underwear is OK with that. I have Inner thigh chafing issue too.
BTW Inner thigh chafing is a common skin irritation that can happen when your inner thighs rub against each other.

    where to buy good stuff?

    I think sportswear shops.

    thanks

I bought Nike (2 layer) running shoe pair from DSI Premium Shop @ Bambalapitiya. Good if you running on a treadmill as it absorbs vibrations without passing pressure on knees.
